Aerosol Anomalies
In Aerosol Anomalies, graffiti pioneers Mark Bodé and Dr. Revolt come together in a visual collision of comic surrealism and New York street culture. Drawing from decades of underground art history, the show fuses Bodé’s signature characters—mutants, warriors, and confident femmes—with Dr. Revolt’s vibrant aerosol language and iconic handstyles.
Painted on wood panels and vintage NYC subway maps, their works blur the line between illustration and graffiti, fantasy and rebellion. Canman lounges beside a Bodé Babe. Letterforms melt into narrative scenes. It’s a celebration of movement, mythology, and visual storytelling—bold, irreverent, and distinctly their own.
Aerosol Anomalies reintroduced two legends of street culture to a new generation, with a body of work that doesn’t just reference history—it lives in it.
