With Aladdin Sane Inky (Blue), Invader collides two icons—David Bowie’s electric alter ego and Pac-Man’s panicked ghost—into a single, sharp-edged tribute. The hand-pulled screen print features Inky mid-flee, struck through with Bowie’s signature lightning bolt in vivid red and blue. Released in 2014 in a rare edition of 65, each print is signed and numbered by the artist. It’s playful, subversive, and unmistakably Invader: a mashup of pop, game, and glam rock culture, pixelated and printed for the wall. Bold, limited, and loaded with meaning.

About The Artist

Invader takes pixelation to the pavement. Operating in stealth since the late ’90s, this anonymous French artist has installed thousands of tile mosaics across global cities, bringing 8-bit nostalgia into public consciousness. Influenced by retro gaming culture and guerrilla street tactics, Invader’s work reclaims urban space with playful subversion. He’s not just tagging walls—he’s coding them with culture. At Mania, we view Invader as a digital-age outsider who bridges fine art and street rebellion with quiet precision.
