In Bond at Sea, The London Police pay homage to cinema’s ultimate icon—James Bond—through their unmistakable visual language. The legendary LADS stand shoulder to shoulder with Sean Connery’s Bond, blending street art playfulness with crisp portraiture and architectural finesse. Executed with the duo’s signature hand-drawn precision, the piece is a tribute not just to 007, but to timeless cool, loyal companions, and the art of smooth disruption. Classic subject, TLP style—charming, sharp, and totally undercover.
About The Artist
The London Police—Chaz Barrisson (b. 1974) and Bob Gibson (b. 1977)—have been spreading joy and precision across the globe since 1998. Known for their iconic “LAD” characters—grinning, wide-eyed figures that exude unity and mischief—they’ve become a staple of international street art. Blending bold, cartoon-like forms with obsessively detailed architectural linework, the duo creates a visual language that’s instantly recognizable and meticulously crafted. Their work bridges muralism and fine art, balancing playful energy with technical control. At Mania, we see The London Police as master builders of style and spirit—artists who make walls smile and cities feel just a little more alive.
